Steps to Apply for SSC CGL Recruitment 2025
- Visit the new official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) at www.ssc.gov.in.
- On the homepage click on “Apply” under Quick Links.
- Now click on “Apply” against Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025.
- If you are a new user, then click on “Register Now” and create a new user name/registration number and password for yourself.
- Now login with your Username (Registration Number) and Password and fill in the captcha code carefully.
- Enter the required details in the fields and attach the documents which are asked for in the application form.
- Pay the pre-requisite application fee through online mode via credit/debit/net banking.
- Submit the duly filled application form and download it for future reference.

Application Fee

Nationality
A candidate must be a citizen/subject of either India/Nepal/Bhutan/a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
SSC CGL Selection Process 2025
Two years ago, SSC revised the selection process, and now only two-tier exams will be conducted to shortlist candidates for various Group B and C posts under the SSC CGL 2025 Notification. SSC CGL Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:
Stage 1 Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature).
Stage 2 Tier-II: Paper I (Compulsory for all posts), Paper II for candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.
