Assam TET Result 2025: The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam, successfully held the Assam TET Recruitment Test 2025 for the positions of Graduate Teacher (GT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). This recruitment is intended to fill 9,717 vacancies in various government and provincialized secondary schools in Assam. The test was held in two stages on January 19, 2025, in nine districts of Assam. The DSE intends to conclude the recruiting process by May 2025, and the results of the Assam GT/PGT TET recruiting Test are expected soon.
Candidates who have participated in TET cum Recruitment Test held against the position of GT and PGT should know that the result will be released most probably in the second week of February 2025. Cut Off Marks
In the TET combined Recruitment Test, 140-mark questions were asked from several subjects. In all, 50 MCQs came from Pedagogy, 50 from About Assam and its People, 30 from General English, and 10 from General Studies and Current Affairs. The cutoff marks for being considered successful will be announced together with the results.
The number of vacancies and the number of applicants that sat the test would both have an impact on the cut off marks for the Assam Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) cum Recruitment Test. As the DSE Assam has yet to declare the cut off points, you may find the predicted cut off for each category below.

Candidates should know that applicants with the NCC Certificate will get upto 5 extra marks, 5 marks are going to be allotted incase of having for “C” Certificate, and those who have “B” Certificate will get only 3 extra marks.
Merit List Details
The number of qualified applicants for the TET Recruitment Test shall be kept at a 1:1 ratio to the listed openings. Merit lists will be created for each subject and stream. Marks acquired by candidates in the TET Recruitment Test for a specific topic or stream will be removed from the main list and combined to create a separate Merit List for that stream. This method will be performed for all remaining streams.
If any positions remain vacant after the original Merit List publication, up to two subsequent Merit Lists may be issued to fill the vacancies.
