How to apply for TPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025?
Step 1. Candidates must first register through the One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) system on the TPSC website.
Step 2. Upon registration, a User ID will be generated for application purposes.
Step 3. Self-attested copies of relevant documents (age proof, educational qualifications, permanent residency, caste certificate, experience certificates, etc.) must be submitted by March 21, 2025.

Educational Qualification:
- Good academic record with at least 55% of marks or an equivalent grade at the Master’s or Doctorate level degree in a relevant subject of concerned faculty from a recognized University.
- The candidate should have passed the NET examination conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICAR/NET recognized by the State Govt.
Age Limit:
The maximum age limit is 40 years as of March 7, 2025. Age relaxations of 5 years are applicable for SC/ST/PH candidates and government servants.

TPSC Assistant Professor Selection Process 2025
The selection process for the TPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 will be controlled by Annexures A and B of the announced schedule for the Assistant Professor job in Government General Degree Colleges. The recruitment procedure consists of two consecutive steps:
- Screening by API Score (100 marks): This will be the initial screening stage, where candidates will be evaluated based on their Academic Performance Indicator (API) score.
- Interview/Personality Test (15 marks): Candidates selected through the API score screening will be called for the Interview/Personality Test, which will carry 15 marks (15% of the total 100 marks). The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in both stages: 85% of the API Score and 15% from the Interview. Candidates who do not attend the interview will be excluded from the final merit list.
- Category-Wise Interview Call Ratio:
For 1 vacancy: 5 candidates will be called.
For 2 vacancies: 8 candidates will be called.
For 3 or more vacancies: 3 times the number of vacancies will be called.
Candidates scoring marks equal to the last selected candidate will also be eligible for the interview. - Final Selection: The final selection will be based on merit, considering the combined total of API score and interview marks. In case of a tie in marks, the seniority in age will be used to finalize merit positions. If necessary, the waiting list will be prepared following the same criteria
